Off to California

Day one proved exciting when the cargo bag with my cover and BBQ grill I had strapped to the roof took flight and was only saved by one of 8 bungee cords. Phew! It took about 45 minutes to wrestle the heavy mass down from where it hung suspended by this one lucky cord, rearrange my storage area to cram it in, and then get back on the road.

Made it to Riverside California where I pulled into a Target Superstore parking lot, closed the curtains, made a light dinner and crawled into bed. Love the warm blankets and soft goodness of my bed 🙂

Tomorrow I’m off to Long Beach to visit my cousin Mary.

On the road again, just can’t wait to get on the road again. Makin music with my friends, just can’t wait to get on the road again.
